ECIR 2026 is pleased to offer Student Support Grants to support students attending the conference in Delft, The Netherlands. These grants are designed to help students who face financial barriers to participation.

Grant Details

We will allocate approximately 10-12 full conference pass waivers to eligible students. Please note that these grants cover conference registration costs. Students are encouraged to seek additional funding from their institutions or other sources to cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Eligibility

Applicants must be full-time students. Priority consideration will be given to students with accepted papers at ECIR 2026 and demonstrated financial need.

Application Procedure

The application will request information about your financial need, availability of other travel funding, willingness to volunteer during the conference, and any accepted ECIR papers, and a brief motivation.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is January 24. Students who applied but do not receive a grant can still register for the early-bird fee until March 1. To exercise that right, please send an email to nfontein@tudelft.nl with your paper id (if applicable) and evidence of your waiver application. You'll then receive a personalized link for early bird registration.
